Whatever life in store for me, I will never forget these words from Peter Parker: “ With great power comes great responsibility.”

Zamboanga del Norte National High School, one of the big schools in Dipolog City Division welcomes Dr. Joselito S. Tizon as the new school principal and Mrs. Virginia E. Tagab as assistant school principal for Junior High School effective February 1, 2021.

Mr. Adrian G. Refugio, the former school principal who was transferred to Galas National High School in the same division handed over the School Improvement Plan, BE Learning Continuity Plan and the Annual Improvement Plan as the symbol of responsibility to new school principal.

PSDS Dr. Janette A. Zamoras led the turn over ceremony highlighting in her speech to avoid comparison among the school heads for each one has his own style and potential in leadership.

Meanwhile, Dr. Tizon accepted wholeheartedly the new responsibility of directing such a big school. He exclaimed that “unity for a common goal is like a story of the orchestra played with different instruments. The secret of the harmonious sound lies on the hand of the conductor, without him the ensemble of music will never be a success.”

He added that ZNNHS which has an unquestionably large population, the school head must be like a conductor of an orchestra who could bring out the best from each member of an organization to achieve a common goal-“para sa bata, para sa bayan.” Dr. Tizon aired his goal to make ZNNHS the first secondary school to be certified ISO in Dipolog City Division and maybe in the entire region. Present in the ceremony were PSDS Dr. Janette A. Zamoras, PSDS Mr. Petrush Macute, Mr. Glenn M. Cunahap, ZNNHS Senior High School Assistant Principal, Mr. Roel Carpio, President of ZNNHSTEA and Teachers’ Federation of Dipolog City Division, Mr. Peter Cuenca, PTA President of ZNNHS and the faculty and staff of  Zamboanga del Norte National High School, Faculty and Staff of Galas National High School and Teachers from Miputak National High School.
